Syd's ability to design for almost any style, flavor or client, and meet budget, is a skill mastered throughout her 25 + years as an Interior Designer, and Design - Project Manager. Her ability to look at a client's clothing, the way they stand, the types of words they use, and their posture, allows her to know her client's interior design style from the moment they meet. Syd owns that brilliant ability to gift a client with a unique building and design experience, while maintaining a calm, inspired, and balanced atmosphere.

 

Her past was built and created around design, lending her vision through her choreography as a prominent LA choreographer for national and international tours, networks, labels, A - List artists, film, TV, and artistic directing - choreography based projects. Her 2+ decades in interior design come from her opportunities through entertainment clients. She's often hired to develop, brand, and create national and international interior design work for a variety of Executive Producers, Directors and A-List artists within the Entertainment Industry. Her unique linear floor plans, which have a rhythm and flow, are a deep passion for Syd. Her design work has now been extended globally due to the Producers and A-List artists that she's designed for.

Syd, Owner/CEO of Sydfemmelle Design, Flooring and Construction derives her strength and focus as a single mother, hard work, and gratitude from the opportunity to raise her 2 brilliant girls, the 2 people who give her the strength to excel in design and construction. While raising her girls she built Sydfemmelle from the ground up to put food on the table. She is always inspired to help her girls understand that life is only what they believe it to be. From a birth mother who lived in a cardboard box on the side of the road in the Philippines, Syd understands her life is built on blessings, opportunities and gratitude, and in that spirit she has done numerous pro bono projects in the community. She believes that struggle is simply opportunity knocking. Syd strives to show gratitude to her parents and birth mom for the life she lives today. She does that through looking for and taking opportunity. The creation of Sydfemmelle Design, Flooring and Construction is one more way she gives back, in the name of her 3 parents.
